Meet Hazelnut Cookie, affectionately known as Hazel. With a calm and gentle demeanor, Hazel is a delightful presence on our farm. She loves pets and hugs, and you'll often find her leaning against you, a gentle reminder of the joy of scratches. As the leading milk producer among our goats, Hazel adds a touch of sweetness to our farm with her warm smile.

At the age of 10 weeks, we introduced Joe-Joe and her full sister Hazel to our goat family, which was named after desserts, alongside Mochi. Joe-Joe, named for her Oreo-like appearance inspired by Trader Joe's Oreos, takes the lead with a touch of wariness towards unfamiliar faces. As "mini Nubians," Joe-Joe and Hazel, a blend of Nigerian Dwarf and Nubian, provide high-quality milk ideal for recipes and soap-making.

At the age of 8 weeks, Mochi became a beloved addition to our family. A delightful mix of Boer and Nigerian Dwarf, she was named after my daughter's fondness for the sweet dessert. Mochi, with her fluffy and sweet demeanor, might possess a touch of mule-like stubbornness. She adeptly conveys her wishes and doesn't shy away from overcoming obstacles for a treat, demonstrating her cleverness.
